SH4 wins elevation — especially once a zero stop eats usable travel on the Venom. That matters most for extended-range rimfire / NRL22. Eye relief was close (Venom ~3.6″ vs SH4 ~3.5″); the Venom eye box felt more forgiving when lining up camera-through-scope footage.
Reticles & turrets
Venom: EBR-7C. Arken: VPR. Both Christmas-tree style; both available in mil or MOA. Practical difference: SH4 illumination is center cross only, not the whole tree.

Both look bright below max power. At the top of the dial, light and sharpness fall off fast on either. Looking for sharpness, distortion, CA, and vignetting past ~300 yards, the Venom got a slight edge on tape. Colors/vibrancy were very close.
Warranty & support
Both advertise lifetime-style coverage. Paper warranty ≠ day-to-day support. On tape, SlavGuns described QC issues on multiple personal Arken samples historically, and an email-heavy contact path.
